Responsibilities:

♦ Ensuring the safety of all children in the camp.

♦ Responsible for the overall flow of their location.

♦ Supervising all counsellors while on-site.

♦ Ensuring all groups are adhering to their schedules.

♦ Assist in mentoring of CIT's.

♦ Cover lunch breaks for counsellors.

♦ Assist with any children that require extra attention.

♦ Act as a liaison between counsellors and parents.

♦ Assist the Director (a.k.a. Kaptain) as required.

♦ Adhering to all Kidz Kamp Inc. Policies & Procedures.

Requirements:

♥ Valid 1st Aid / CPR certificate is mandatory.

♥ Valid driver's license is mandatory.

♥ Current Vulnerable Sector/Criminal Record Check (issued not longer than 3 months prior to hiring) is mandatory.

♥ Must be available to work on all field trip dates including overnight trips and for all 11 weeks.

♥ Previous experience with children under 12 is mandatory.

♥ Previously completed high school diploma is mandatory.

♥ Ability to swim unassisted (i.e.: no life jacket) is mandatory.

♥ Currently enrolled in or previously completed degrees in:

- E.C.E.

- C.Y.W.

- C.Y.C.

- any other degree related to children under 12.

♥ Previous day camp experience is mandatory.

♥ Previous supervisory experience is an asset.

Responsibilities:

♦ Ensuring the safety of all children in the camp.

♦ Supervising a group of 12 to 14 children while on-site.

♦ Supervising a group of 5 to 7 children while off-site.

♦ Supervising children during pool times.

♦ Mentoring any CIT's assigned to their group.

♦ Creating weekly programs in accordance to Kidz Kamp Inc. guidelines.

♦ Following weekly programs and ensuring children are kept busy and entertained.

♦ Adhering to all Kidz Kamp Inc. Policies & Procedures.

Requirements:

♥ Valid 1st Aid / CPR certificate is mandatory.

♥ Current Vulnerable Sector/Criminal Record Check (issued not longer than 3 months prior to hiring) is mandatory.

♥ Must be available to work on all field trip dates including overnight trips and for at least weeks 2 to 9.

♥ Previous experience with children under 12 is an asset.

♥ Previously completed high school diploma is an asset.

♥ Ability to swim unassisted (i.e.: no life jacket) is an asset.

♥ Currently enrolled in any of the following courses is a definite asset:

- E.C.E.

- C.Y.W.

- C.Y.C.

- any other degree related to children under 12.

♥ Previous day camp experience is an asset.

♦ Leading a group of up to 6 children in riding lessons.

♦ Teaching a group of up to 6 children proper horse care, grooming and tacking.

♦ Supervising a group of 5 to 7 children while off-site.

♦ Supervising a group of 8 children while swimming.

♦ Mentoring any CIT's assigned to their group.

♦ Adhering to all Kidz Kamp Inc. Policies & Procedures.

Requirements:

♥ Current Vulnerable Sector/Criminal Record Check (issued not longer than 3 months prior to hiring) is mandatory.

♥ Must be available to work on all field trip dates including overnight trips.

♥ Previous Equestrian training is mandatory!

♥ Must be competent swimmer.

♥ Valid First Aid / CPR certification is mandatory.

♥ This position is for the Georgetown site ONLY.

♥ Previous experience with children under 12 is an asset.

♥ Previously completed high school diploma is an asset.

♥ Currently enrolled in any of the following courses is a definite asset:

- E.C.E.

- C.Y.W.

- C.Y.C.

- any other degree related to children under 12.
